Annual Student Conference on Mechanics and Mathematics in the English Language
Annual Student Conference on Mechanics and Mathematics in the English language
is dedicated to students' research projects at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathemathics.
The conference traditionally focuses on the subject of students' course papers in the third year of studies and aims to develop science as well as the skill of preparing and giving a talk on mechanics and mathematics and
conducting a scientific discussion in English thus preparing students for internaional academic life.

The XIV Annual Student Conference on Mechanics and Mathematics
for the 3rd-year students of the faculty was held at the Department of the English Language on December 11, 2024.
The speakers gave talks on the research they are involved in at the Faculty and discussed them with the audience. The best presentations were supported by the department.
We thank all the speakers for their interesting talks and wish you to reach new heights in science!

the subject of their course papers and talk about their research at the Faculty. Abstracts are accepted at https://conf.msu.ru/rus/event/9398/ till 17:00 on December 2, 2024.

Abstracts submitted earlier in the printed version should be registered in the electronic application system at www.lomonosov-msu.ru.
Registration is open now and closes at 19:00 on November 24,2022.

On 13 December, 2021, the
XI Annual Student Conference
on Mechanics and Mathemathics in English for the 3rd-year students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathemathics will be held at the Department of English.
Traditionally, the conference participants are invited to present
the subject of their course papers and talk about their research projects at the Faculty.
Abstracts of the talks are accepted from November 22 to November 29 (before 17:00), 2021.
The list of the speakers of the conference will be available on the information board at the Department on December 6, 2021. The requirements for the layout of abstracts can be found here.

We are delighted to announce that
Xth Annual
Conference for
Students was held at the Department
of the English Language on 9 December, 2019.
According to tradition, the speakers gave
talks
on the research they are involved in at
the faculty and discussed them with the audience.
Prize-winning presentations were supported by
the department. Hopefully, the tradition will
continue and future generations of students will
take advantage of this wonderful opportunity to
participate in a scientific discussion and
practise their public speaking skills. A heartfelt thank you to

On 10 December,
2018, the IX Annual Student Conference
on Mechanics and Mathemathics in English for the
3rd-year students of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathemathics was held at the Department of English. The conference participants presented reports on scientific research
at the faculty and were able to discuss them with the audience.

2017, the VIII Annual Student Conference on Mechanics and Mathemathics in English for the 3rd-year students
of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathemathics will be held at the Department of English.
Traditionally, the conference participants are invited to present
the subject of their course papers and talk about their research projects at the Faculty.
Abstracts of the talks are accepted from November 20 to November 27, 2017 on the Department of English (Room 441, GUM 2) till 17:00.

the Footsteps of the Masters" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics was held at the Department of English.
